Senior Partner
Todd Lash is a Senior Business Development and Marketing Professional
specializing in strategic partnership development, product strategy,
product marketing, and product distribution. A veteran entrepreneur
and innovator, Lash has more than 15 years of experience developing
and licensing technology products, and marketing technology to
enterprise and consumer markets.
Lash
has devoted the last year towards developing market awareness
and distribution
partners for online advocacy and fundraising
software that aid grassroots nonprofit organizations to lobby
congress over health, education, tax, labor, and environmental
issues, and raise money online. As Vice President, Marketing
and Alliances for GetActive Software, Lash developed strategic
relationships with Association Management Software companies,
Public Affairs, membership and fundraising firms, National Public
Radio (NPR) and it’s affiliate broadcast network, and top
publications servicing the nonprofit community.
Lash
launched the first Internet based interactive TV commerce
application on
broadcast TV. From 1997-2002, he was a Founder
and the Senior Vice President of Marketing and Strategic Alliances
at RespondTV, an Interactive Television service provider. Lash
developed the initial product strategy and business relationships
with partners such as Domino’s Pizza and Bloomberg Television – showcasing
the now-ubiquitous examples of ordering pizza from iTV and an
interactive stock quote ticker, and established alliances with
Interactive TV technology firms such as Microsoft, Liberate Technologies,
and OpenTV. RespondTV aired hundreds of interactive programs
and commercials, for PBS, Ford Motor Company, Coca Cola, Tide,
etc., and was the preferred provider to AT&T Broadband. Lash
holds a patent, and another three pending for his early work
in interactive television.
From 1996-1997, Lash served as Vice President of Product Marketing
at goodcompany.com, where he and colleagues designed and developed
a subscription based community Internet service with technical
innovations such as a neural network profile matching system
and the first private instant messaging system.
Lash
was also the first to launch web banner advertising among
other numerous
Internet marketing services including paid directories,
ecommerce and content publishing platforms. From 1993-1995, Lash
served as Director of Product Marketing of America Online’s
Internet Services Division. At AOL, Lash was responsible for
software product design and rollout of the fourth largest national
ISP (GNN) and ecommerce platform. Lash arrived at AOL by way
of acquisition of O’Reilly’s Global Network Navigator
(GNN).
1988-1993, Lash developed pioneering Workflow, Business Process
Management, Electronic Messaging client/server applications for
Action Technologies and application developer QDM Systems.
Lash has previously served on the Board of Directors for the
Advanced Television Enhancement Forum (ATVEF), a television industry
technical standards group, and RespondTV.
Lash received his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University
of Michigan.
